Tell us about Mineral Mask. What year did it launch?

Our journey began in 1995 with the launch of our first skincare product, the Silica Mud Mask, which features the iconic white silica mud abundant in the Blue Lagoon. In 2018, we aimed to create masks that highlighted the other remarkable bioactives of the Blue Lagoon, leading to the development of the Mineral Mask, which showcases the unique geothermal seawater of the lagoon.

What inspired you to create Mineral Mask, and what was your vision for its formulation?

The primary inspiration for the Mineral Mask was the bioactive water of the Blue Lagoon. Our vision was to create a product that mirrors its beneficial effects. The water is incredibly rich in electrolytes, which help our skin cells absorb and utilize other active ingredients more effectively.

In our Mineral Mask, our patented silica ingredient strengthens the skin barrier, while other active ingredients like hyaluronic acid and jojoba oil work synergistically to boost moisture levels, leaving the skin revitalized and glowing.
